Yingjia WANG (王英嘉)

I am a third-year Ph.D. candidate at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), advised by Prof. Ming-Chang Yang.

I am broadly interested in storage systems and have published as the first author in top conferences and journals, including IEEE HPCA, ACM/IEEE ICCAD, and IEEE TC. I received my B.Eng degree with honors from School of Computer Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2022.

Research

I have broad interests in storage systems, including flash storage, computational storage, key-value storage, cloud storage, as well as their interesting intersections. Currently, I am dedicated in innovating storage systems with the emerging data placement technologies such as Zoned Namespace (ZNS) and Flexible Data Placement (FDP).
